There is being a time since you first hear about my BJD anthro rabbit, so, this is some new pictures of it!
The first picture is a comparison with a doll made by [link]
Just to see the differences between the styles and that the size is a bit similar.
The rabbit passes through great changes. The waist and the legs were completely remade. Is in my pland also remake the ears, chest and arms.
You may ask: but... then in the end you will have two of these dolls since you are remaking everthing...And I may answer: yes! Just the head I wont romake.. This is a sad thing, but I am a perfectionist and everything must be perfect, no matter if I had to make the doll twice. So far I am very happy with the results =) She is already standing by her own and even in just one leg! But I am saving this pictures for the future!

Hey vonBorowsky, i know you dont intend to make a tutorial on bjd making, but do you mind helping me out a bit? I make dolls too, but recently trying out cold porcelain.

Do you make your joints separately and then join it to the limb,, or just sculpt them together? And how do you sculpt the channels so cleanly? Do you drill the channels through a piece after it dries, or build the limbs over somthing?

And may I know about some characteristics of your cold porcelain? Can it be carved and sanded ? Is it firm or rather soft? Any idea to stiffen it a bit without drying it out?

Ive tried to make a bjd with my homemade cp, but there were some issues with blending parts together smoothly ...wondering if its my problem or the problem of the material, hahaha.

You will have to figure out by yourself. All the techniques I use to make BJDs out of cold porcelain were develped by me after many many attempts and many many hours of hard work. That is why I don't share this information.

It can be sanded buts ins't too easy. It is a bit soft.

It is probably a problem with you.

Yeah I figured so. Yup, the amount of love and effort you give your dolls are evident!

Going for more adventures poking around the cp and recipe, how exciting~

Thankyou for your help!

Will you ever be taking commissions for dolls like this? I have two anthro rabbit O.C.'s ( they're twin sisters)
