Ball Jointed Pony

This is a ball jointed pony doll, totally handmade by me from scratch, without the use of any molds. The doll is made out of cold porcelain clay, has white marks painted with acrylics and doll hair glued on.

It is a very small ball jointed doll, measuring 6cm height and 7cm long.

I started this doll long time ago and decided to finish it because I would travel to see a friend and want to show her more of my work, because I haven't many dolls with me at the moment. It was one of my first projects with an extra joint on the hint legs o.O The idea of this project was to make a resin ball jointed doll but I gave up of the idea because I thought resin dolls would me more interesting if they have changeable glass eyes, which isn't the case of this super small pony XD This is also my first attempt to make a equine doll with lots of joints. I wanted this pony not to look as My Little Pony and looks more like a real pony with the shorter legs n.n I love ponies and horses and I will definetly make more because I need to pratice with these creatures too and not with canines only.
