THE BEST DOLL FROM 2012 - of my creations, this is the better of this year.
Finally finished! It is a ball jointed dragon made out of cold porcelain. By the pictures you can see how poseable it is! All the different colors of this doll were made using different colors of clay: the marbled on the horns and legs, the gradient on the tail, everything! This poseable figure were all handmade by me, from scratch. No molds were used. The eyes are also handmade. It is a one of a kind ball jointed doll, there is no other like this in the world! I decided to keep this doll for me, as I just keep the ones that had problems or something! I may stay with a good one, don't I? So I will keep this one, unless, maybe, if someone make a good offer.
I forgot to mention that the white stripes on the legs were painted! But just these ones!

I love the way he came out. Great colors gradients and the joints look superb (more on that momentarily). However I think he could use wings, or a mane/back tines since the horns are so imposing that he seems a bit naked along his back. Or even a tail spike or some tuft somewhere.
Now back to the joints, You really out did yourself with his legs and feet. He is so dainty. Absolutely impressive. And the eyes look wonderful as well. I don't even know why I am writing all this since your work is great.
I suppose my only real critique is to keep it up and take more risks and add complicated features to your dolls that have so many joints.
But all in all he is a cutie and a good choice to keep for yourself!
